Toro sushi

This unassuming restaurant was such a pleasant surprise! Everything we ordered from the kama to sashimi to rolls was delicious. The fish was high quality and the service was great. The chefs also keep everything super clean. We went in pretty late on a Sunday so we watched them as they closed down for the night and they clean everything. I can’t wait to go back!

The SASHIMI is the best I have ever by a long shot!!! Freshest most precious raw fish! The Toro is the absolute off the charts amazing! Twenty minutes from the airport. Hight recommend you visit if you are anywhere close and like sushi and sashimi! Owner is the chef and is running the sushi making, he is fantastic! The service is on point! Only suggestion would be to sell shirts with their logo on them!!

Headed back to Vegas from Hoover Dam and needed some good Sushi. After several minutes of scrolling GM, I decided this was the best option. I was promptly greeted upon arrival and offered a spot at the sushi bar. This excellent customer service was consistent throughout the visit too! The awesome waitress pointed me to the daily specials, which she explained in detail. (I wish I could remember what they were now...lol) Anyways, everything was delicious! I can highly recommend Toro Sushi as the fish was fresh and the service was even better!

THIS IS NOT AN ALL YOU CAN EAT PLACE A great local sushi restaurant. It is a small place but cozy. We ordered the sweet shrimp with deep fried heads (I haven’t found too many places that offer the fried head), lunch sashimi platter x2, garlic tuna nigiri x2 and everything was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The fish was great quality and large portions per slice at least for what we ordered. We did not try their rolls on this trip. We would come back when in the area.

Very unfortunate that our experience was singled out. We had a nice meal and by the end of the meal we were yelled at as we were walking out of the restaurant and it was a very odd interaction, we proceeded to leave in confusion of what the sushi chefs behind the bar were implying when they were hollaring at us when we left. Almost implying as if we did not pay. I would hate to make this a color thing but considering the demographics there we were the only ones there that were darker in color from what I observed. I called after to clarify what was the problem and to raise my concern with that inappropriate delivery when we walked out and I was told by the woman over the phone that they accidentally did not include a roll on the receipt and it was an internal error on their behalf. NOT A CUSTOMER ERROR. I am still confused why we were hollered at when we were leaving if this "error" had nothing to do with us. I am not convinced this is the REAL problem but rather I am very disappointed that it may be a singled out event due to something more deeper rooted. While I won't be making a mention of that reason.. I will never be going to this restaurant again and I really hope the next customer doesn't have to endure unprofessional treatment that has nothing to do with the customer. We were humiliated and made to feel as if we did something wrong as we walked out with the chefs behind the bar yelling at us while walking out. That behavior should be corrected especially if the customer did not make the mistake. We paid. Left a tip and left to mind our business until we were yelled at as we concluded our meal and were leaving. I'm sure they will be happy that the colored people will not be coming back as well. Wish granted.
